Frequently Asked Questions

How much will chiropractic care cost?

We provide each individual with care that is specific to their unique health needs and goals. Until we have a good understanding of someone’s health history and how their body is functioning, it is difficult to say how much chiropractic care in our office will be. Our care recommendations and any financial information will be discussed at your second visit.

Do you accept my insurance?

We encourage you to use your insurance, we just do not process it in our office. We have an in-office discount program that allows us to keep our prices affordable across the board. We are happy to work with you no matter your financial situation.

How many visits will I need?

Every individual has unique health needs and goals. After a thorough consultation and examination, the doctors are able to determine how many visits will be necessary to help you reach your health goals. We present our findings and best recommendations for your care at your second visit.

How long will my visit be?

It is our goal to be respectful of your time while still providing quality service. Your initial visit in our office will be approximately 60 minutes. To save time in the office, you may complete your intake forms ahead of time. If your appointment is for you and your family or friends, you can expect it to take a little longer. After your first two visits, a typical visit is between 5 and 15 minutes.

Will I need x-rays?

Until the doctors understand where your health is at and where it needs to be, it is difficult to determine if x-rays would benefit your care. We have a saying in our office “to see is to know, and to not see is to guess”, and we will never guess with your health.

If I already have x-rays or an MRI, should I bring them in?

Yes! If you have previous images, please feel free to bring them to your first appointment. The doctors at True North Chiropractic will review them to better understand your health history. The doctors may recommend additional diagnostic imaging if indicated.

When will I get my first adjustment?

In order to provide you with the best quality care, the doctors need to get a thorough understanding of where your health is at. We will first complete a consultation, neurological assessments, and diagnostic imaging if necessary. At your second visit we will discuss our recommendations for your care, and you will receive your first specific, scientific adjustment at True North Chiropractic!

Is chiropractic safe for me and my family?

Chiropractic is very safe. It is a non-surgical, non-invasive, drug-free approach to health and is among the safest of all health care practices. Chiropractic does not take anything out of the body or put anything in the body. It is designed to clear the path of communication in the nervous system so the body can heal and maintain its own health. Because chiropractic is so safe, chiropractors are able to enjoy one of the lowest malpractice rates of all healthcare practitioners.
