The True North Team

Dr. CJ Castellano

Dr. Christian Castellano (Dr. CJ)

Chiropractor & Co-Owner

Dr. CJ grew up in Auburndale, WI. He attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and earned degrees in Kinesiology and Business Administration. During his time there, he played on the basketball team as well as coached at the high school level. While Dr. CJ was working in college, he suffered a severe injury to his hand that caused him to lose both feeling and function of it. When he wasn’t progressing with other forms of treatment, he found chiropractic care. With just a couple of months of specific chiropractic care, he regained full feeling and function of his hand! Additionally, he saw benefits in his anxiety, low back pain, knee issues, and his digestion.

Dr. CJ followed his new found passion for chiropractic by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. His passion only grew as he learned about the body’s innate ability to heal itself when nerve interference is removed with chiropractic adjustments. His favorite thing about being a chiropractor is helping people live their lives without drugs or surgery, and getting them back to doing the things they love.

Outside of the office, Dr. CJ spends time hunting, working out, and going for hikes with his dog, Piper. He also enjoys traveling, loves spending time with his family and especially being a dad to his daughter, Josephina Rey, who has been adjusted since she was less than an hour old.

Dr. Nicole Castellano

Chiropractor & Co-Owner

Dr. Nicole grew up in the small town of Sumner, Iowa. Upon graduating, she went to Loras College to play volleyball and pursue a degree in Athletic Training. Dr. Nicole saw and experienced the profound benefits of chiropractic care for athletes with injuries. She has always had a heart to serve people through health and healing, and valued the natural approach that chiropractic care provides.

Experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care firsthand solidified her plans to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While in school, she learned more about the direct influence of the nervous system on each person’s ability to function, and the body’s innate ability to heal. And after becoming a mother herself, Dr. Nicole became passionate about helping moms have a happy, healthy, and more comfortable pregnancy and birthing experience. She especially loves caring for newborns and kiddos to help ensure they have a healthy start to life, as she has witnessed directly for her own daughter.

When she’s not adjusting, you can find Dr. Nicole on a run or hike, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and her favorite of all — being a mom.

Emily

Chiropractic Assistant

Emily grew up in a small town in southern Wisconsin and was involved in dance, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and track from a young age. This sparked an interest in exercise and the way we move and function. She attended Madison College before moving to La Crosse in 2018 to finish her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at UWL.

Her favorite part of working at True North is all the babies that come into the office and watching them grow into well-adjusted kiddos!

When she's not enjoying all the babies and kiddos at True North, Emily enjoys playing volleyball, fishing, and spending time at the beach.

Hannah G.

Chiropractic Assistant

Hannah grew up in Appleton, WI and moved to La Crosse to attend UWL. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science, she decided to stay and enjoy all that this area has to offer.

Hannah enjoyed her UWL courses that focused on the body and what it can do for us. She values that chiropractic care is a health practice that does not take anything out of the body or put anything in the body but rather, aid it in doing what it was already designed to do.

When she's not at True North, Hannah loves going camping and exploring the outdoors, playing volleyball, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
