What is SoftWave?
SoftWave Therapy, also known as Tissue Regeneration Therapy (TRT), is a non-invasive treatment that uses short, frequent bursts of high-intensity mechanical energy, delivered as shockwaves, to stimulate healing in soft tissue that is injured, scarred, inflamed, painful, or affected by adhesions.
Within the applicator head, SoftWaves are generated by an electrode housed inside a water-filled soft latex dome. When electrical current charges the electrode, it creates a spark beneath the water.
This spark forms a hot gas bubble that rapidly expands into the surrounding water, producing SoftWaves that travel from the applicator into the targeted area. The high-energy acoustic waves penetrate deep into the damaged tissue, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.
